making withdrawals

So I like the new way of things being done electronically. I can basically make payments, check my balances and do all types of banking on line. I must admit I have never completely understood banking. I can go at 9am today and make a deposit and it may not be there until the next morning for me to do online bill pay, or I can go to the bank at noon one day and the money shows up before I am back in my office. Same paychecks from the same places taken to the exact same teller at the same bank. I just don't get it, nor do I desire to completely get it. All I need is to know how much money I have when I have it. There is nothing worse than going through the line at the grocery store, or ordering food somewhere knowing you just deposited your paycheck and having your debit card declined. I had to do this once at Wal mart with a grocery cart full of items for a youth event. I must say, it is humbling to say the least.
What about our hearts, and minds? Do you know what's in there, do you know your balance of good to bad? What types of things come out when you are in a pinch? You can only draw on what is in there, and many times there is equal good and bad because of the music we listen to, the movies we watch and the people we surround ourselves with.
Luke 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
There you have it, in JEsus own words. The good man will withdraw good things and the evil with bring out evil. Our thoughts are from the heart, our words are from the heart and while many of us have good hearts, we don't have them full of good things. THis is why it is so important to go to church when there are Bible studies and chance to grow, why it is important to listen to Christian music and avoid movies with a lot of bad things in there that shouldn't clutter our hearts and minds.
Fill yourself with good, and you will see that more good will come out of you.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
(I am experiencing technical difficulties and it took me 3 tries just to type this out, so if there is a day without a blog this week I apologize in advance until I get it resolved.)
