Finding strength in our struggles

Have you ever felt absolutely worthless to God. Like there is no way you can be of any value to God because of your weaknesses, or you struggles? I know I have gone through periods of this in my life and each time I am driven back to these verses. Paul knew exactly what his weaknesses were and where they came from, and how to deal with them. Simply give them to God!

7 To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

You see it is comforting when we see that Paul had struggles. He was one of the greatest leaders for Christ of all time, yet he had struggles. He puts it in perspective though. We should be glad when we struggle because that is when God's Power can be made most noticeable. No matter what your struggle, what you are dealing with God is stronger and bigger than the fix you are in. ANd, right there in that struggle you have the opportunity to feel God so much more than ever before.

When are we at our strongest? When we are at our weakest and letting God guide us through the valleys of life.
