If we are the body

Casting Crowns is one of the bands that I prefer to listen to, not just because of their sound but because of their lyrics. They have so many songs that they have written with so much to offer in their lyrics. I enjoy tremendously the richness of the scripture that is found in their songs. You sing along(yes we all do it) with the radio and then later you figure out you were singing scripture, how awesome!
They did one song that may have been their first big hit called if we are the body.
I'll share the lyrics with you:

Jesus is the way

THey are referring to Ephesians 1:22-23 "And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything in the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way."

So here's the question: If we are the body of Christ, why aren't we reaching out to others? WWJD? He spoke to and with anyone he ever had an encounter with. More importantly, when you have encounters do people realize that you are part of the body?
