National Day of Prayer

I was contacted last night and asked to lead a group at an elementary school in prayer. Today is national day of prayer and I was obviously excited about that opportunity. While a lot of pastors are gathered together praying, and a lot of pastors are praying with our leaders in this great city, I would much rather be in the trenches. Praying with an assistant principle, over a dozen teachers and a librarian. What better way to kick off my day than with a group of people where I want to take the Gospel praying. My heartbeat is for our schools and that is where you will find me with each and every opportunity I find. I think St. Johns County is blessed to have as many CHristian administrators and coaches as we do, as well as a God loving superintindent. From the top to the bottom and everywhere in between I am privledged to know such great warriors for Christ.
God's word tells us that where two or more are gathered, there He will be also. That is comforting and a blessing all wrapped up in one. How awesome to know that the creator of all things, the Father of our Savior, is waiting in an elementary school library for a group of teachers to come to Him in prayer. So I would challenge you today, and on into the future to pick out other believers in your workplace and pray. Invite God into your day, and into your workplace and see what amazing things He will do.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!
