Alexa

About 9:00pm on August 29th, 2000 our lives forever. Alexa Leigh Gatlin was born and the world will never be the same. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," and it is Jeremiah quoting the Lord. The most important part of the verse is "I". God knows the plans he has for Alexa's life, I want her to get a Junior Dragster, play softball and basketball and do all the things that I envision us enjoying together.
Instead, she seems to like gymnastics and video games and things like that. She isn't real interested in drag racing(I'm giving it a little time) but she does love to play basketball. What am I rambling on about?
God's plans, no matter how much I plan for her life, how wrapped up in her life I become, the important thing is that God has plans for her. Plans for her that will bring her far more joy than just pleasing her daddy.
God has great plans for us, all of us, and we need to be ever watchful for those plans and live our lives in a way that we are seeking His will and His will alone. Audience of one, nothing else matters, nothing else will bring us more joy than seeing our loved ones and those we care about find God's will for our lives.
